Computers ( New & Used )

All computers, new and used, include a 1-Year Parts and Labor Warranty. Additional accidental and software warranties may be purchased at time of sale at a very low cost. All extra parts include a 30-day warranty if we install the equipment. Additional manufacturer's warranties may be available; see a sales associate for more information. During this warranty period (short of natural disasters), everything is covered under warranty except software and accidental damage. All repair work and warranty replacements are normally completed in our store or at the warranty repair center within 24 hours. On-site warranty work is available with the payment of a $20 pick-up and delivery charge per incident. All custom computer configurations are available for pick-up in 48 hours or less.

Virus, Spyware, Trojans, and Adware:

All computers used on the internet are subject to one or more of the above problems. We DO NOT COVER software issues under our standard warranty. We do have a GoldWarranty available that does cover all software issues. We are experts in virus and spyware removal from your system. Without the GoldWarranty, the charge is $95.00 per incident.

Repairs and Upgrades:

Free Diagnostic Service. ComputerWorks technicians provide free diagnostic service to every customer, regardless of where you purchased the computer. Simply bring your computer to the store and we will perform a diagnostic for free. If you need to leave your system we will call you with the exact charge prior to starting work, to give you a chance to decide if you would like the work to be done. All components installed during a repair are NEW. If we can't fix the problem, then your service charge is only $55.00. All repair labor comes with a 30 day warranty.

Abandoned Computers:

Shelf space in the store is limited; therefore, any computer left for more than 30 days without contact from the customer will be sold to cover repair and storage costs.

Payment Terms:

ComputerWorks accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express with proper ID. We do not accept checks. We do have Layaway with a 25% down payment and balance of payments within 30 days. Financing is available with 90 and 180 days same as cash with a 10 minute credit approval.

Return Policy:

ComputerWorks accepts returns for store credit on most items for a period of 30 days. On computers and monitors the return policy time limit is 15 days. All returns are for store credit only and each return will be issued a gift card for the full purchase price minus a 15% restocking fee. Any product being returned must be in the original, undamaged packaging, you must have your receipt, and again, there is a 15% restocking fee.
